 4 Day Wait Rule

When introducing your baby to new nourishment you always want to rule out any bad reactions or allergic reactions to certain foods before moving on. This allows you to pin-point the exact food that is causing the reaction and there is no need to guess.

Pick a day to start a new food and jot it down on the calendar. Feed her the food and do not introduce another food into her diet until 4 full days has passed and she shows no sign of an allergic reaction.

Allergic reactions can include rashes, tummy aches, vomiting, diarrhea, runny nose, itchiness and bumps on the skin.

When the four days have passed introduce a new food to her and feel free to mix it with a food that is already on her repertoire. Soon she'll master all the fine foods the earth has to offer!
