Basic Tools
Here are the very basic tools you'll need to make fresh homemade baby food for your little one!

Food Processors
The best way to blend your baby food to smoothness is with an electric food processor. You don't need anything fancy but it's always nice to have a good food processor for your other cooking needs as well! Below are our favorites:

Storage

The easiest way to store fresh homemade baby food is in the freezer with sealable ice cube trays. We recommend ice cube trays with lids because it keeps food fresher and better prevents unwanted freezer burn. Each cube holds about 1 ounce of baby food. If your babe likes her food warm and you're on the go, try out a nifty thermos made especially for storing baby food.

Pans and Pots
We recommend using stainless steel pots and pans to make baby food in. Non-stick surfaces are sprayed with a special chemical that prevents food from sticking but over time the surface begins to wear off and flakes of the surface can find its way into your baby's food.

Other Items
Some other items you should have handy are measuring cups, measuring spoons, melon baller (for coring fruit), a good peeler and food handling gloves.
