Some Organics For Baby
Is it really necessary to feed your baby
organic food? In some cases yes, and in some cases no. We recommend
buying organic meats, eggs, and chicken stock just because these
items aren't riddled with man-made hormones if they are certified
organic.
Many fruits and veggies do not have to be bought organic because the
main reason why you would want organic produce is because it's not
sprayed with pesticides. But the simplest way to rid pesticides from
your product is to simply peel the skin away. Apples, mangoes,
pears, peaches, nectarines , carrots, zucchini and the like can and
should be peeled before being made into baby food. This immediately
eliminates the pesticides.
Some produce including broccoli, beans, cauliflower, and berries
should be bought organic and the reason is obvious. But if you want
to be extra careful, buy everything organic for your baby.
